SMPS DC Chapter’s NEW Community Outreach Committee
January 13, 2012 No CommentsDid your new year’s resolution include doing more for your community? Then join the SMPS DC Chapter’s newest committee–the Community Outreach Committee!
We’ll need assistance organizing events throughout the year, such as 5K races for charity, community improvement days, delivering toys for the holidays, adopting families for Thanksgiving, and student outreach programs, including scholarships and internships. We hope to work with other professional organizations on some of these efforts to increase networking opportunities for members, while giving back to our community.
