Chips and guacamole, the Markendium, and a group of motivated SMPSers? Sounds like a terrific Tuesday night!

CPSMs and CPSMs-to-be gathered at Mission in Dupont Circle on November 1st to talk turkey—sorry; got Thanksgiving on my mind already—about the CPSM certification and the upcoming CPSM Bootcamp. The evening began with casual chatting and networking, giving interested marketers the opportunity to learn more about certification from some of the DC chapter’s 32 Certified Professional Services Marketers.

Career Advancement Director Amy Cuddy, CPSM, kicked off the formal program with a brief description of the requirements for certification eligibility, the study materials, and the Bootcamp format. This year, in addition to the weekly webinars and monthly in-person review sessions developed to prepare you for certification success, we’re offering a January “cram session” for experienced professionals.

Michael Knowles, CPSM, sent chills down everyone’s spines with a heartfelt testimonial on what certification has meant to him in his career. “Obtaining my CPSM demonstrated that I am a professional in my industry; being able to use that knowledge established me as a leader in my firm,” Michael declared. The evening ended with the room abuzz with excitement about the CPSM certification and the upcoming bootcamp. We look forward to seeing you all after the holidays for some more in-depth CPSM study fun!
