On Thursday, December 12th, SMPS DC hosted their annual holiday party at El Centro D.F. in Georgetown. Close to 70 AEC professionals came together to enjoy a fun night of networking, catching up with old friends, and raising money for the Children’s Inn at NIH. The super tasty margaritas were an added highlight of the evening.

The chapter was excited to continue their partnership with the Children’s Inn at NIH for another year. Funds for the organization were raised through an impressive selection of raffle gifts donated by local firms. We are excited to share we donated $2,500 to the Inn this year!

The Children’s Inn at NIH is a “place like home” for seriously ill children receiving groundbreaking treatments at NIH. It also provides a space for their families to stay with them, as well as activities and family dinners to keep their spirits up.

Chapter president Jen Bottomley took to the stage to thank everyone for coming to our last big event of the year. She mentioned a lot of the great programming we have coming in 2020, including Marketing’s Role in Aligning BX, CX, and EX, Winter Networking Roundtable Lunch and CPSM Boot Camp. Registration is open for all events – we hope you’ll join us!

Thank you to our event sponsors, christopher consultants and Cakewalk Strategies, and these generous firms who donated items for raffle prizes:
