Let’s Get To It…..
What inspired you to join SMPS and what are you hoping to get out of your membership?
I was relieved when I found my people! Marketing is one thing, but A/E/C marketing is so niche.
What has been the most valuable part of your membership so far?
Sharing similar experiences and takeaways with other members.
What got you into the AEC industry and what keeps you here?
I’m third generation construction industry. I’ve been around it my whole life, and when I was in high school, I started working for my dad’s tile and drywall installation business doing mostly payroll and invoices. After college, I got recruited back into construction because of my industry experience. I love it. Building my community is very rewarding.
What has been your favorite SMPS DC or SMPS event?
Because of COVID, I have only attended virtual events, but I enjoy them all.
What part of the SMPS mission to Advocate, Educate, and Connect most resonates with you and why?
Educate - because there is always a better way to do things.
What’s the most valuable thing you’ve learned through SMPS (an event, speaker, or fellow member)?
I’ve been introduced to new productivity tools that have improved my processes tremendously.
Best work-related advice you’ve ever gotten?
It’s okay to say no!
Who is your professional idol? Why?
I really admire people that can’t be put into a box and are successful in multiple professions.
