Site Tour

Join SMPS DC for a behind-the-scenes look at the national presidential memorial to Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th President and Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in WWII. The Clark Construction team will lead us on a tour of the monument and share some of the unique challenges of building the dramatic design. *PPE, including a hard hat, vest, boots, and safety glasses is required.

What You'll Learn

The Eisenhower Memorial, which sits on a four-acre site south of the National Mall, will be distinguished by its large bronze sculptures, inscribed stone blocks, monumental columns, and a 450-foot woven metal tapestry featuring an image of Normandy.

After the tour, we will head across the Mall to Hamilton’s Bar and Grill for happy hour and networking. Light appetizers will be provided by SMPS DC with a cash bar.
