InDesign Workshop for Beginners

Over the course of the program attendees will learn the basics of Adobe InDesign, the professional page layout software standard used to design and publish broad range of documents. The workshop is designed for first time and beginning InDesign users, and no previous knowledge is required.

About the Instructor

Jon Toonkel is an architect with David M. Schwarz Architects in Washington, DC. He utilizes InDesign extensively for everything from client presentations to marketing booklets and monographs. Jon has led introductory and advanced InDesign workshops at his firm, as well as at the Arlington County Adult Education Center. Prior to working at David M. Schwarz Architects, Jon spent several years creating printed maps for tourism bureaus and special events across the country.
