What You'll Learn

What You'll Learn

Here’s what Frank Lippert has to say about the RFP process. What’s your best tip for standing out from the competition in a proposal? Know your audience inside and out. Selection committee members’ names are seldom disclosed, but that doesn’t mean you can’t figure it out and make a very healthy guess at who they are, especially if you’ve positioned yourself well. Are there certain steps in the RFP process that are more important than others? Once the RFP is out, it’s critical you respond with the message that they told you about. It’s easy to make assumptions when you don’t have good notes or detailed information. The words from the client’s mouth are golden. When you’re writing that cover letter, you have to speak their language.
