What You'll Learn

Project Details

The Renwick Gallery, home to the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s contemporary craft and decorative art program, completed an extensive two-year renovation this past November. The Renwick reopened with restored historic features, new infrastructure, dramatically improved energy efficiency and other upgrades that make the national historic Landmark building into a 21-century destination. This project marks the first comprehensive renovation to the building in more than 40 years.
