All marketers can use research to improve the quality of their work. Sometimes you can tailor a proposal response more effectively if you obtain details about the selection committee. A cold call can become a warm call if you know something more than the name of a person. When tracking a potential project, following its funding path may be helpful. But where do we start? Join the SMaRT committee for an interactive discussion on research, led by Elizabeth Meylor, one of HGA’s two Research Librarians.

We will investigate the benefits of research, recommend free and paid resources, and distribute take-away materials that you can bring back to your marketing and business development departments. Bring your questions and the name of your favorite free research tool to share with the group.
