Winning work is about genuinely understanding what a client is seeking, despite a generic or sometimes even unclear Request for Proposal (RFP). This workshop will help clarify the RFP process, read between the lines, and offer a strategic proposal to best position your firm for the win.

What You'll Learn

Frank Lippart, FSMPS, CPSM, a sought after A/E/C strategist, will guide attendees through three critical areas of proposal development: strategy, development, and management. Frank will share interactive strategies to track competition, present an unbeatable team, identify firm differentiators, write a compelling “why statement,” and develop a winning approach.

The audience is anyone who contributes to the proposal process including business developers, marketers, proposal developers, and capture managers. Workshop attendees will leave with skills essential to not only successfully complete proposals but win work in an increasingly competitive market.

Frank Lippert is a partner and founder at Go Strategies, LLC. A certified professional services marketer, he specializes in helping firms win important projects with effective, strategic pursuit management. He also teaches and coaches architects, engineers, and contractors on best practices and evolving practices in marketing and business development. His 25+ years of experience in marketing and business development is derived from employment at Symonds Consulting Engineers, David Evans and Associates, Inc., and WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff as well as intensive involvement in the Society for Marketing Professional Services. Combined, these experiences provide him with a national network of marketing and business development contacts, an expert knowledge of what it takes to win work in the A/E/C industry, and leadership skills for strategic planning and professional coaching and mentoring.
