Support Wreaths Across America

Arlington National Cemetery

Memorial Drive, Arlington, VA 22211

December 21st - December 12th

Community Outreach

Join SMPS DC as we support Wreaths Across America Day to reach their goal of placing wreaths on all of the veterans' graves at Arlington National Cemetery.

Every time you help us honor our veterans and active military, you are also honoring their families and preparing a new generation to appreciate our freedoms. Involve your friends and family in a break from the holidays to honor our service men and women, and their families.

Our group will gather at McClellan Arch at 9am for the Opening Ceremony. Please plan to arrive early and look for the neon yellow SMPS shirts as large crowds are expected. At 9:30, we will join the other volunteers for a briefing to go over instructions. You are welcome to lay as many wreaths as you can and stay for the final ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at 12 noon.

This event is open to all ages. Please feel free to bring friends and family members to contribute to this great cause.
