Didn’t make it to Build Business in 2021? Well, we are bringing it back to you! The theme of BB21 was R.I.S.E. – Resilience, Impact, Strength, Equity. In this session from the Equity theme, Kim Pipkin of Black Kite Consulting will examine the role that inclusion plays in all aspects of corporate culture and why it's not going away. Inclusion impacts project teams, recruitment, graphic standards, communication strategy, and more. We will learn how you can drive inclusion in your firm from wherever you sit and how we chronicle these efforts. This session is for everyone - firm principals, HR managers, DEI specialists, sponsors, graphic designers, and all levels of marketing professionals. A generous portion of proceeds from this event will go to the Children's Inn at NIH.

What You'll Learn

There are countless ways in which we are similar or distinct from each other from personality to birth order to gender. The increase of identities can often feel overwhelming especially in our journey to create more diverse and inclusive workplaces. In order to create a corporate climate of inclusion and culture of belonging, each person needs to understand how these identities impact even the smallest of our decisions. After this presentation, there will be a facilitated Q&A session with Kim Pipkin.
