How it works
A CPSM is recognized as an individual who has met a rigorous standard of experience and expertise in marketing professional services, and has demonstrated their knowledge of the practice and related disciplines through a thorough examination of marketing competency. Candidates will be tested on their knowledge of the following six domains of practice:
- Marketing research
- Marketing planning
- Client and business development
- Proposals
- Promotional activity
- Management
Kicked-off in January of each year, this aggressive 10-week program covers everything you need to know to take the CPSM exam, from logistics to study tips to deep dives on exam materials. Our Career Advancement committee balances a series of webinars, in-person classes and group review sessions designed to address all schedules and learning styles.
Classes typically run from February through May of each program year, and include between 10-20 participants. Candidates typically sit for the exam in June to be recognized at our annual Summer Celebration.
