SMPS DC Mentorship Program

Plato had Socrates, Luke had Obi-Wan, and now you too can have your own guru. Our nationally- recognized Mentorship Program (formerly called Guru Guidance) pairs marketers at all experience levels to foster the exchange of ideas, experiences, and industry tips and tricks through valuable, lasting relationships.

How it works

Partnerships are determined every fall through an application process. We pair up mentors and mentees who share similar interests and goals for what they’d like to get out of participating in this program—so it’s important to take your application seriously, as it will shape your experience. From there, monthly one-on-one meetings are complemented by several group events throughout the year.
