Submittal Requirements

Materials completed between January 2024 and January 2025 will be accepted for the 2025 competition. Failure to comply with submittal requirements can result in disqualification of entry.

Important steps to ensure your entry is complete:

  • Prepare your entry following the directions below.

  • Register your entry online.

  • Email complete PDF entry packages to Abby Harrington at [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, May 16, 2025. For example, if you are submitting two separate entries, you will note that in the body of the email within one email.

Preparing the Entry for Submission

A single PDF should be submitted for each entry. Each PDF should include, in order:

  • Completed entry form

  • Exhibits/samples of project being entered

  • Entry registration payment receipt

Entry Form:

One entry form must be provided for each entry. Entrants are reminded that the entry form and exhibit/samples are the only items the jurors are able to use to evaluate each entry. Make sure to answer each question completely and within the required word count. Only 20% of the score is the actual item (the PDF or website or video submitted)—80% of the score reflects the strategy behind the project. Please see the Judging and Awards page for more information.

Please note that redesigning or reformatting the entry form is neither desired nor required.

Exhibits/Samples of Project:

Project exhibits/samples should be submitted in the appropriate format categories as follows:

  • Digital: The entry’s original deliverable format to its intended audience was web-based. Submit URL for entry. Be sure to test all links before submitting them and please provide passwords if they are required for access.

  • Print: The entry’s original deliverable format to the audience was a printed piece. Submit a PDF or photos of the print piece. Please do not send a hard copy of the entry.

  • Mixed Media: Both print and digital formats were used to deliver the entry to its original audience. Submit a PDF or photos of the printed components as well as the URL to view the digital component.

Please also note that some categories have additional specific submittal requirements. Please visit the Entry Categories page for additional information.
